Inquire for Project/OEMFrequently Asked Questions
How does the TSVB thermostatic shower valve operate?
The thermostatic handle controls the water temperature, while the separate flow-control handle adjusts the overall water volume. Each push button independently turns a shower outlet on or off, allowing one or multiple outlets to operate simultaneously.
What type of thermostatic cartridge does the valve use?
The TSVB series uses a French Vernet thermostatic cartridge for stable and precise temperature control. A 38°C safety stop helps reduce the risk of accidental scalding.
Can multiple shower outlets operate at the same time?
Yes. Each push button independently controls one outlet, allowing multiple shower functions to operate simultaneously when the available water pressure and supply capacity are sufficient.
What are the inlet and outlet connection sizes?
The hot- and cold-water inlets and all shower outlets use G1/2 threaded connections. Please verify the piping arrangement and flow direction before installation.
What is the flow rate of the TSVB shower valve?
The valve provides a flow rate of approximately 24 L/min. Actual performance may vary depending on water pressure, pipe size, outlet configuration and the number of functions operating simultaneously.
What is the required installation depth?
The recommended rough-in installation depth is 80–103 mm, measured from the valve body reference point to the finished wall surface. The finished wall must remain within the marked installation range.
Can the rough-in valve be installed before the trim finish is selected?
Yes. The concealed rough-in valve has no decorative finish and can be installed during the plumbing stage. A compatible trim design and finish can be selected later, provided the outlet configuration and number of push buttons match the rough-in valve.
What if the rough-in valve is installed too deep?
Extension components are available for installations that exceed the standard depth range. Please contact our sales team with the model number and actual installation depth so we can confirm the correct extension kit.
