PBV4 Pressure-Balance Shower Valve Series

The Aquavit PBV4 Series combines an integrated cast-brass valve body with a 40 mm Yizhan pressure-balance cartridge to help maintain a stable shower temperature when supply pressure changes. The lift-and-turn handle controls water flow and temperature.

Available with 1, 2 or 3 outlets, the series includes rough-in valves and valve-and-trim sets with rotary or auto-reset push diverters. Standard 1/2" NPT connections, integrated check valves and service stops support installation and maintenance for North American projects. Complete PBV4 shower systems are also available with coordinated shower heads, hand showers, tub spouts and other shower components.

How the PBV4 Valve Operates


Lift the main handle to turn the water on and adjust the flow, then rotate it to control the temperature. Multi-outlet models use either a rotary ceramic diverter or a push auto-reset diverter to select the connected shower outlet.


PBV4 valves, compatible trims and selected Aquavit shower components are covered by cUPC certifications. Complete shower configurations should be verified against the approved product combinations.
