Product Description
The Aquavit TSV73X01V is a vertically installed thermostatic rough-in valve designed to control two, three or four shower outlets. Its solid brass construction provides a durable concealed waterway for multi-function residential and commercial shower systems.
A French Vernet CA43 thermostatic cartridge maintains a stable mixed-water temperature for comfortable showering. Integrated service stops and check valves simplify maintenance and help prevent reverse water flow, while G3/4 inlet and outlet connections support increased water-delivery capacity.

Inquire for Project/OEMFrequently Asked Questions
1. What does “X” mean in the TSV7 model number?
“X” represents a variable outlet configuration. During production and product marking, it is replaced by the applicable configuration number, such as 4, 5 or 6. Products listed with “X” share the same core structure and price unless otherwise specified.
2. How many shower outlets can a TSV7 valve control?
Depending on the valve configuration, TSV7 models can control up to eight shower outlets. The exact number of outlets is specified on each product page and outlet diagram.
3. Can multiple shower outlets operate simultaneously?
Outlets controlled by different handles may operate simultaneously. However, the two outlets assigned to the same control handle cannot operate at the same time. Actual performance also depends on available water pressure and system capacity.
4. How does each outlet control work?
Each flow-control handle operates two assigned outlets. Turning the handle in either direction selects one outlet and adjusts its flow, while the centre position turns the water off.
5. What is the flow rate of the TSV7 valve?
Typical outlet flow is approximately 24.5–27.1 L/min at 3 bar under test conditions. Actual flow may vary depending on the selected outlet, water pressure, pipe sizing and connected shower components.
6. What connection size does the TSV7 series use?
TSV7 valves use G3/4 threaded inlet and outlet connections to support high-volume water delivery for multi-outlet shower systems.
7. What installation depth is required?
The TSV7 rough-in valve has an adjustable installation depth of 80–97 mm, measured from the finished wall surface to the back of the valve.
8. What is the difference between vertical and horizontal TSV7 models?
Vertical and horizontal models use different valve layouts to suit different shower designs. Selected vertical models are available with integrated or separate trim plates, while the listed horizontal models feature separate trim plates with an integrated hand shower connection.
9. Are integrated and separate trim plates available?
Yes. The TSV7 series is available with integrated or separate trim plate designs. Each configuration is listed under its own product model, while selected models may share the same rough-in valve.
10. Can the rough-in valve and trim kit be ordered separately?
Yes. TSV7 rough-in valves and compatible trim kits can be ordered separately or supplied as complete valve-and-trim sets. Compatibility should be confirmed by model before ordering.
11. Can the trim finish be selected after the rough-in valve is installed?
Yes. The finish-independent rough-in allows the concealed valve to be installed before the final trim design and finish are selected, provided a compatible TSV7 trim kit is used.
12. What thermostatic cartridge is used?
TSV7 valves use a French VERNET thermostatic cartridge for stable and precise temperature control. A 38°C (100°F) safety stop helps prevent accidental temperature increases.
13. Is the TSV7 series cUPC certified?
Yes. The TSV7 series is cUPC certified for applicable North American plumbing requirements. Please contact AQUAVIT for the certificate and approved model listing.
14. Does the valve include check valves and service stops?
Yes. Integrated check valves help prevent backflow, while service stops allow the water supply to be isolated for inspection and maintenance.
